Workplace productivity platform selected for its ease of use and ability to help institutions simplify data management, improve student engagement, and streamline work across departments
FISHERS, IND.—May 14, 2021—Formstack, a workplace productivity platform that empowers anyone to digitize what matters, automate workflows, and fix processes—all without code—today announced the Software & Information Industry Association (SIIA) has named the Formstack Platform a finalist for the 2021 CODiE Awards. Formstack is a finalist in the Best Administrative Solution category, which recognizes the best non-instructional business management solutions that support education. 2021 CODiE Award winners will be announced virtually June 22 and June 23.
The SIIA CODiE Awards are the industry's only peer-recognized awards program. Educators and administrators serve as judges and conduct the first-round review of all education nominees. Their scores determine the SIIA CODiE Award finalists which accounts for 80% of the overall score. SIIA members then vote on the finalist products and the scores from both rounds are tabulated to select the winners.
“We’re honored to be recognized for the efforts we’ve made to help educational institutions provide seamless digital experiences for their students, faculty, and staff,” said Chris Byers, CEO, Formstack. “First impressions matter, especially when it comes to a student choosing a college or university. That’s why it’s essential that higher education institutions have access to tools that allow them to be more efficient by easily automating education workflows so that they can instead focus their time on those critical first impressions for students.”
More than 1,000 colleges and universities—including Harvard University, University of Michigan, Butler University, and Indiana University—use Formstack’s workplace productivity platform to transform outdated paper processes into digital workflows that simplify data management, improve student engagement, and streamline work across departments. Offering a single platform of digital forms, document generation, and eSignature tools, Formstack empowers administrators of all technical skill levels to digitize and automate processes—such as securely processing financial aid applications, handling enrollment status requests, and collecting event registrations.
“The CODiE Awards recognize the most exciting and transformative products in Ed Tech,” said Jeff Joseph, SIIA President. “This year, these leaders helped our nation respond to the historic pandemic, enabling learners, educators, administrators and parents to remain connected to each other and to critical educational resources via an array of innovative services and platforms. Congratulations to this year’s finalists for demonstrating the vitality, resilience, and importance of this important industry.”
To help colleges and universities strengthen relationships with prospective students and improve the application and admissions experience, Formstack recently teamed up with Attain Partners to create a mobile-ready, and easy-to-use application process, designed to accelerate Salesforce Admissions Connect implementation. Using Formstack for Salesforce, the Admissions Application Template reduces time and expense to go live with Admissions Connect and has several key features that level up an organization’s admissions workflows—including delivering pre-filled forms, enabling document upload, providing application progress in real time, and providing conditional logic and branching based on program, or residency. It supports graduate and undergraduate applications while ensuring security to keep sensitive information safe and secure.
Formstack was also recently named a finalist for the 2021 EdTech Awards in the Administrative Solution category. Celebrating its 11th year, the US-based program is the largest recognition program in all of education technology, recognizing the best tools, inspiring leaders and innovative trendsetters across the K-12, Higher Education, and Skills and Workforce sectors.
